Meet the Leadership of Bundle of Joy
My name is Kim Hulcher. Welcome to Bundle of Joy. I’ve been a director with Bundle of Joy Child Development Centers Inc. since 1993. I currently hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a masters degree in teaching from Mary Baldwin University.
In addition to my work at Bundle of Joy, I’ve served as a governor appointed member of the Child Day Care Council, and currently serve as Executive Director for the Virginia Child Care Association. Part of my life’s mission is to continue moving programs towards the highest level of quality in early education and to provide compassionate child care for children. Bundle of Joy has provided the opportunity for the leadership and our talented staff to work closely over the years to build strong programs. This supports our efforts of delivering the best in both child care & early education. I’m honored each day to be a part of the positive, mission driven, child care culture, and to be part of a team who brings “JOY” to all of our children, and families.
When I’m not working I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my family at the beach, and volunteering. My dream is to walk the El Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
My name is Kelley Mulcunry and I welcome you to Bundle of Joy. I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education in both Virginia and South Carolina. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in child development from the University of Alabama.
In addition to my work at Bundle of Joy, I’m also on the Executive Board of the Virginia Child Care Association and I serve as President of the State Recognized Accreditation, International Academy for Private Education. My education and my experience in different areas of Early Childhood Education has helped me to stay on the forefront of best practice and trends in this field. I enjoy being part of a career that helps prepare children to become life long learners.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two teenage sons, riding horses and being outdoors. We love football, especially Alabama football, attending games and barbecuing on beautiful fall Virginia days.
